Using our vast supply chain experience and having excellent supplier relationships has allowed us to offer what we believe to be the best pricing combined with the fastest lead times for hardwood shutters anywhere in the UK.

For hardwood shutters, our current lead time is around 8-10 weeks from order to installation. 

The cost of your shutters will be determined by the size of your windows or doors, we are very transparent about our pricing and have a very simple and easy to use pricing calculator which you can access here ;. 

To offer the best possible pricing for shutters that we can, our payment terms are split between the 'Product Cost' which are your shutters and blinds that you wish to have installed as well as an 'Installation Cost' which covers the cost of installation including labour, fixings, all ancillaries and removal of packaging and waste that we generate from your property. 

The Product Cost is payable at the time of oder and the Installation Cost is payable on the completed installation of your shutters. We would never request any full balance upfront and instead prefer you to be satisfied with the installation after demonstrating your new shutters to you. 

We do things this way to be as transparent as can with our pricing and to offer what we believe to be the best deal and most competitive pricing in the industry for you as a customer.  

We are not a large business, we a are a family owned, husband and wife ran business that is named after our children. We handle everything from initial survey to installation ourselves, we do not use any subcontractors. 

Shutters are a very versatile solution and we like to say that they can be installed on any window in your home, however you don't have to. We can also offer a range of made to measure blinds to suit any windows in your home that you do not require shutters for.  

You are welcome to make your own decisions and follow your own tastes, a common trend we are finding is customers are putting shutters on the front of their property and then using blinds to cover the windows on the rear of their property as an example. 

Our client portal is unique to us and will contain all of your order information such as quotes, invoices, shipping updates and more, allowing you to login and see how things are progressing without any issues or worry. 

When shutters are specified, surveyed and ordered by a home buyer prior to completion, they are VAT exempt, if a customer completes and moves in and then sources shutters, VAT becomes chargeable. 

You will notice a vast difference once shutters are installed to the heat retention in your home. 

Shutters offer a great level of insulation when preventing heat loss in your home and also in the warmer months, especially on South facing windows, your home will feel a lot cooler. 

Shutters also offer great sound insulation qualities and can help block out road noise as an example. 

Shutters do a good job of blocking out light and many customers are very happy with their level of light control, we do not offer them as a blackout solution. If this is something you require, then you should consider our room darkening shutter solution with integrated blinds.
